We believe that construction must re-invent itself using high precision manufacturing technologies in prefabrication and assembly that will drastically reduce wastes, garbage and loss of time on the construction sites. In order to improve the overall performance of our bildings, we employ new technologies as well as passive time-proven systems incorporating natural and vegetated systems, such as green roofs, natural ventilation, water recuperation and filtration, as well as urban agriculture.
Our approach is grounded in “permaculture” design philosophy whereby our dwellings, towns and cities can become self-sufficient in food and energy production and therefore regain our independence from nonrenewable fossil fuels and non-sustainable practices that are currently the norm in the construction industry.
As architects, it is our responsibility to create environments that are more efficient and productive for humans to realize their full potential as creative individuals and caretakers of our biosphere.
